For a decade or so Philosophy Football has been proud to mark a wide variety of WW2 anniversaries in the cause of the defeat of nazism and fascism. We don't 'celebrate war' we commemorate the sacrifices made to defeat the evil that Hitler and Mussolini represented. The anniversary of Hiroshima? This is something different, whatever the cause the effect was the beginning of an age of nuclear proliferation, the threat of nuclear war and the infinite damage this would cause. Dangers that continue to haunt humanity decades on from 06.08.45. Our shirt makes that point with the eternal CND message 'protest and survive.'
