70 years ago, the Nazi onslaught on the Russian city of Stalingrad was to be Hitler's strategy to complete the defeat of the Red Army. Yet within months, after desperate fighting for every street, every house and every room the Soviet forces completed an extraordinary encirclement of the Sixth Army. This was the beginning of the end for Hitler.
Our design features the fuselage markings of a Soviet Airforce Yakovlev Yak-7, the slogan in Russian reads "From the Politodelets Collective Farm to the Defenders of Stalingrad."
