2 Tone Nation

 2 Tone Nation

2 Tone Records. The '79 label that launched the careers of The Specials, Madness, The Selecter, The Beat, The Bodysnatchers. Ska, the sound Jamaica brought to Britain in the 1960s and reinvented by inner city England for the 1980s. In the wake of Margaret Thatcher's '79 General Election victory fuelled by her racist rhetoric 'that people are really rather afraid that this country might be rather swamped by people with a different culture'  this was the soundtrack of our resistance, and best of all this was music we could dance to. Based on the original 2 Tone Records label design Philosophy Football's version celebrates our 2 Tone Nation, then, now and for ever.

Available in unisex sizes medium (40inch/100cms) and large (44inch/110cms).
