Dudley-born Duncan Edwards was at the time England's youngest 20th Century player at 18 years and 183 days when he made his debut in 1955, a 7-2 thrashing of Scotland. Previously he had once scored 6 goals in an England Under-23 game. He played 18 times for England, scoring 5 goals, featuring strongly in the 1958 World Cup qualifying campaign, a tournament he missed following his tragic death in the Munich Air Disaster. Our unique Duncan Edwards commemorative design comprises a replica garment of the V-neck style of shirt he would have worn playing for England, the now-superseded 1950s crest of Dudley, his home town, and his name and all-too-brief dates. On the back. his name and number. This beautiful garment has been specially commissioned and embroidered from manufacturers in England. Strictly unofficial. Size child 9-12 years (34 inch/80cms).
